Blessed Christopher Wharton, Catholic Academy Trust

Welcome from CEO

A very warm welcome to the Blessed Christopher Wharton Catholic Academy Trust.

I am delighted that you are interested in finding out more about us. Our Trust was established in July 2014 and now comprises 17 primary schools and one secondary school; another secondary school will join us soon. All of our schools are located in Bradford and Keighley.

As a Trust we work as a family to serve our school communities, families, staff and most of all our pupils to ensure that all our children and young people have a first-class Catholic education.

We help each other to become stronger in our faith. Our schools, our families and local parishes work together to ensure the Catholic identity of the Trust is a lived reality, following the example of Jesus Christ.

We are committed to providing all pupils with a school experience that is rich and happy. We work together to ensure that they fulfil their potential in all aspects of their school life. We help them with their spiritual, academic, social and emotional development to ensure they are ready to contribute to their community and be successful in life.

Every child and young person in our schools matters to us. As leaders and teachers, we strive to ensure teaching is of the highest standard so that pupils achieve well throughout their time at school. We know that it is important to come together as schools to share and celebrate the success of the pupils.

We are also committed to ensuring that members of our staff are happy. Each one makes a unique contribution to our success and we want to make sure that they feel valued. As CEO, I want to help everyone to become the best they can be.
